Rangers of The North – 3D Challenge
Rangers of the North Sports Club invites you to the second edition of the competitions organized by us. This will take place in the beautiful forest of Bretea and aim to test your shooting skills in 3D target hunting mode. The participation fee does not include lunch. This will be provided for a fee by a local catering company.
The registration fee for this competition is:
➵ 100 RON Adult/Young Adult/Veteran
➵ 80 RON Junior
➵ 60 RON Mini
The fee can only be paid by bank transfer to account RO74BTRLRONCRT0609139701, opened at Banca Transilvania SA, beneficiary: Asociatia Club Sportiv Rangers of the North. Payment at the location is not possible.
The participants who wish to eat lunch are also asked to pay the cost of the meals in the same account, mentioning the days and portions desired. The price of the lunch is 30 RON and the menu for the two days is:
➵ Day 1 – Chicken schnitzel with a garnish of roast potatoes and pickles
➵ Day 2 – Grilled pork neck with a side of rice with vegetables and pickles

General rules
During the contest, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and drugs is strictly prohibited. Smoking is allowed only in specially arranged places. Participation in the competition is at your own risk, and children up to the age of 14 must be accompanied by adults during the competition. Also, to the extent that this is possible, we would be happy if you participate with us dressed in traditional costumes, so that we can enjoy an atmosphere as close as possible to the specifics of the activities carried out.
Rangers of The North – 3D Challenge Rules:
➵ Number of 3D targets: 24.
➵ Various distances.
➵ Archers will present their equipment (armed bow and arrows) for verification, together with the competition registration.
➵ The archer must touch the stake with one side of the body at the time of the shot.
➵ Two arrows will be shot at each target, except for targets where there are two animals, in which case one arrow will be shot at each animal.
➵ The points that can be scored are: 10, 8, 5, miss.
➵ The arrow must cross the marker line for the top score.
➵ Archers in the categories Cadet, Junior, Adult Senior and Veteran they will execute the shot from the blue stake. Only those from division Mini will execute their shot from the yellow stake.
➵ In case of divisions olympic bow and compound, the archers of these divisions will execute the shots from the red stake, and those from division Mini will execute their shot from the blue stake.
➵ In the case of division Mini, for arrows that hit the target but do not stick and bounces back (not sideways), the archer can choose one of the following two options: scoring the shot with 5 points or retry the shot. Repetition is only allowed once.
➵ In the other age categories, if the arrow is shot and stuck in the target the suddenly falls before the time of evaluation, it is scored only if it was observed by all members of the group of which the archer is a part and the correct evaluation from a distance was possible. Otherwise, the score awarded will be 0/miss and the draw cannot be repeated.
➵ Touching the arrows is strictly prohibited at the time of evaluation, and they may be drawn only after evaluation and only after the score has been entered on the score sheet.
➵ Any optical instruments for observing distant objects are permitted, except those that can be used to determine the distance between the person and the object.
The guesthouse at the venue of the competition has a capacity of 30 people. We also specify that the guesthouse does not offer restaurant services. However, the guesthouse has a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals according to your taste. Thus, to the extent that you opt for this way of serving the meal, you can bring any food with you, having sufficient space for storage and preparation of any meal. Archers wishing to spend the night at the venue should reach out to us for reservations and payment, which will be charged in advance. Archers who have paid for the reservation, but are no longer able to participate in the competition, have the possibility to be reimbursed the amount paid for accommodation, with prior information of the organizers. Participants interested in other places of accommodation, at distances close to the venue of the competition, can check the availability of the guesthouses in the resort of Figa or in the city of Beclean.
